What have I done during the past 1week other than shouting BORING at almost every whatsapp groupchat? Don't be curious, there isn't anything much because Shiwei's life is very Shiwei. Boring and boring and boring bored.![]()
Alright, I did try attempting to do something. Maybe cleaning/wiping/packing/tidying my messy room? It is definitely not easy to clear the unwanted stuff away. I spent exactly 3days trying to clean every corner and give away whatever I can to my sisters. Why and how I spent 3days?
I literally sat down in that mess reading every single piece of paper I found and many were ridiculous. I even found one letter writing to myself from @%#$ year. It was about me getting caned by my papa and that letter was about revenge. It was a letter to the future me reminding myself how badly I was being treated. It was damn funny please! Anyway, I need to shop asap! My wardrobe seems packed but it is full with event tee shirts. VERY SAD LIFE!

What else can I do other than staying at home? Yup, sailing.
As always, DMB start and end exam earlier than any courses. I was asked by Vanessa to help transfer Satu back to RSYC. My only purpose there was to suntan myself and get a better skin tone. Believe me, the ride back to West Coast was scary. Never in two and a half year of sailing I have felt so traumatized, I thought I might die and never return home.
All the crazy things just happened in that one day.
Teckwee last minute back out, Vanessa being the helm, Jeremy first time trimming, Jiaming and Paul first time on a keelboat and I was new to the bow. Most importantly, the five of us were considered as UNDERWEIGHT to sail in that wind condition. 12knots, I guess? The height of those waves was one of the highest I have seen in Singapore so far. It can be compared to the one I saw in Sabah, around 2m high? I just know that Vanessa felt like dying, so do I. Other than believing in my helm and hike out hard, there was nothing else I could do. That one day totally made me understood how the keelboaters YOLO-ed every race.

I was just trying to get myself busy and at the same time do Daryl a favour. So I went to sail SB20 the following day. After the traumatizing ride from Satu, I was so confident that I can sail better in smaller boat. What is capsize and dying after Sunday!? #proud Anyway, the whole idea of sailing at Marina Bay is stupid! REALLY.

Lastly, sunburnt, the aftermath.
