Poly Forum has officially ended.
At the start I thought that I was crazy to apply for it. SP was kinda strict about the 60 students going to the forum. Rounds of interviews were conducted and I thought I will never get in since my GPA sucks like hell. Who knows I actually qualified! I mean, how?! God knows.
Initially, I want to back out from the forum because of Constantwind Match Racing Cup since it clashed perfectly on the same dates. In the end I did not because I felt that I have spent enough time for Sailing Club and now its time for something else. Mixed feeling when I made the decision because SPYC was always my prior, if I were to put studies aside.
I am really glad that I chose to go for the forum because CWMRC was postponed. At the same time, I was able to meet this bunch of lovelies. It is not easy to have 5 polys together, especically when you meet 59 new friends! Everyone from North, South, East and West was gather at Pulau Ubin (eventhough accommodation sucks) to enjoy the same experience, adapting the surrounding and working hard to complete our task/mission together.
Missing not having to wake up at 6am just to refresh myself in cold water, missing not having to climb the hills in OBS. Staying up till 3am just to chat, play cards, and sing. Sneaking out from D'Marque to play daytona, pool and arcade.
Poly Forum, thank you for the awesome experience you have given me. No doubt you took away 3weeks of my time, but what you gave in return was wonderful memories. It was the people, the times spent together that made it worthwhile.I know I'm gonna miss all of them deep inside, so lets not forget each other.
